Juneteenth Augusta extends beyond Festival Day. Throughout the celebration period, we host curated events that highlight entrepreneurship, culture, service, and entertainment. Each event is designed to engage a different segment of our community while strengthening the overall movement.

Each event within Juneteenth Augusta is intentionally designed to engage different segments of our community—from families and youth to entrepreneurs, artists, and civic leaders. While each experience serves a unique purpose, together they create a unified movement that promotes culture, education, economic empowerment, and community connection across the Augusta region.
Canvas & Culture
Sponsorship Opportunities Available Canvas & Culture is a creative experience that brings people together through art, culture, and community. Guests will participate in a guided painting session while enjoying music, conversation, and a relaxed atmosphere designed to inspire creativity and connection. Whether you come for the art, the culture, or simply a great night out, Canvas & Culture offers a unique space to create, unwind, and celebrate creativity together. $40 Early bird; $55 General Admission Grants entry to the event with access to one (1) glass of complimentary wine, one (1) 11x14 canvas (paint included), and hors d'oeuvres. A cash bar will be available
Community Cleanup
The Juneteenth Community Clean-Up brings volunteers together to help improve the appearance of parks, streetscapes, and public spaces across the CSRA through litter removal and beautification efforts. This initiative promotes community pride, environmental responsibility, and collective action while helping create cleaner, more welcoming neighborhoods. The effort reflects the spirit of Juneteenth by encouraging unity, service, and shared responsibility for our community.
Juneteenth Kickoff Karaoke Night
Start Juneteenth week the right way at Juneteenth Kickoff Karaoke Night at Cliffism’s Sports Bar & Grill. This special Juneteenth edition of Cliffism’s popular karaoke night invites the community to come out, take the mic, sing their favorite songs, and enjoy a night of music, fun, and good vibes. It’s the perfect way to bring people together, connect with friends, and kick off a full week of Juneteenth Augusta events leading up to the Juneteenth Augusta Festival.
Juneteenth School House Games
Sponsorship Opportunities Available The Juneteenth School House Bingo experience provides teens with a fun and engaging environment to participate in an interactive bingo-style event designed specifically for youth. The program encourages connection, laughter, and friendly competition while creating a space where young people can come together, socialize, and enjoy an activity designed just for them as part of the Juneteenth celebration. $25 admission; $35 General Admission; $80 Team Bundle (4)
Free-ish Art Show
Sponsorship Opportunities Available The Free-ish Art Exhibit highlights the work of local and regional artists while celebrating creativity, culture, and the ongoing journey of freedom and expression. This exhibit provides a platform for artists to share their perspectives and talents while allowing the community to experience art that reflects heritage, identity, and storytelling within the Juneteenth celebration. $15 Early bird; $20 General Admission Includes admission and complimentary food for one (1) attendee.
