10th Annual Juneteenth Augusta Festival Announced

Augusta, GA — Band of Brothers Augusta, Inc. proudly announces the 10th Annual Juneteenth Augusta Festival, taking place June 19, 2026 at the Augusta Exchange Fairgrounds. This milestone celebration marks ten years of honoring freedom, culture, and community through one of the region’s largest Juneteenth celebrations.

Each year, Juneteenth Augusta brings together thousands of attendees from across the Augusta region and surrounding communities to commemorate Juneteenth — the historic day marking the end of slavery in the United States — while celebrating Black culture, entrepreneurship, music, art, and community empowerment.

The 2026 festival will feature a full day of activities including:

  • Live music and entertainment
  • Local food vendors and culinary experiences
  • Black-owned business vendors and community resources
  • Family-friendly activities and youth engagement
  • Cultural showcases and community recognition

Over the past decade, Juneteenth Augusta has grown into a powerful community tradition and an important cultural and economic event for the region.

Members of Band of Brothers Augusta say the festival continues to represent a collective community effort to celebrate history while creating opportunities for connection, education, and economic empowerment.

In addition to the festival, the week of Juneteenth will include a series of events designed to engage different segments of the community through culture, education, and community engagement.

More details about performers, vendors, and festival programming will be announced in the coming months.
